Leadership DeSoto Announces Class of 2008
The DeSoto Council is pleased to announce that the Leadership DeSoto Class of 2008 has been selected. This year’s class represents a diverse group of community leaders from many different educational, personal and business backgrounds.

This year’s program will begin with a two-day leadership training session November 15-16. The group will then meet once each month to learn about the challenges and opportunities facing DeSoto County in the areas of economic development, education, health care, and state and local government. The large group will be divided into several smaller groups, each of which will work with the DeSoto Council and the North Mississippi Homebuilders Association to plan and execute the 2008 DeSoto Home Show and the DeSoto Council’s Legislative Weekend, which will kick off the home show.
