New Initiative Spotlights Northwest Mississippi
A new alliance, a partnership of four Northwest Mississippi counties, with assistance from a grant from Entergy and the Mississippi Development Authority, has been formed to spotlight all Northwest Mississippi has to offer. The M3 Alliance (Mississippi Memphis Metro Area) unites DeSoto, Panola, Tate and Tunica Counties, Mississippi’s hottest economic growth area. A brochure and website, www.m3alliancems.com, tout the strengths of the area, including air, highways, rail, water, utilities, and workforce and education.
Officials with the M3 Alliance have already conducted a site selection consultant visit to Atlanta, and will be traveling to Chicago in November to meet with other real estate professionals and consultants. In addition, the M3 Alliance will host a reception in October for Memphis-area commercial real estate brokers, giving the brokers a chance to meet the members of the team and learn more about the Alliance and the advantages of a Northwest Mississippi location.
