Greenlee Announces Relocation of Central Distribution Center
Greenlee, a Textron Inc. company, has announced that it will relocate its Central Distribution Center to Southaven. The CDC is currently located in Rockford, Ill. The facility, which will total 105,000 square feet, will be located in Hillwood’s DeSoto Trade Center and will employ 95 people.
DeSoto County was chosen as the site for the relocation following a total benefit and cost analysis of inbound/outbound transportation, property, operating and labor costs. The analysis involved sites from multiple states, and DeSoto County was determined to be the best total benefit and cost solution for the company’s long-term growth.
