DeSoto County, Mississippi - 7th in Nation in Job Creation
The growth of Olive Branch and sister cities in DeSoto County, MS were also determining factors in the CNN Money Magazine article earlier this month (August 2011) citing DeSoto County in 7th place in job creation in the nation. The article touts a 48.2 percent increase in jobs driven by relocation of large distribution centers to the tax and business friendly county.
